Dr. Belal Shehab is a board-certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon with over 15 years of experience in advanced facial reconstructive surgery, dental implants, and cranio-maxillofacial procedures. He graduated from the Faculty of Dentistry in Egypt in 2009 and completed a hands-on surgical internship at Cairo University, where he gained valuable exposure to complex maxillofacial surgeries.

In 2014, Dr. Shehab began his residency in cranio-maxillofacial and plastic surgery at Alexandria University, specializing in the treatment of facial injuries, jaw deformities, and other intricate surgeries. He completed his training in 2018, obtaining both the Arab Board certification and the MOMS RCSed (UK) qualification. To further enhance his expertise, Dr. Shehab completed an externship at Tufts University in the USA and earned a master’s degree in clinical research. His dedication to professional development led him to receive a scholarship from Harvard Medical School in 2022 for clinical research, culminating in a peer-reviewed paper published in 2023.

Currently practicing in the UAE, Dr. Shehab is a senior specialist in oral and maxillofacial surgery and is recognized as a distinguished implantologist by the Department of Health (DOH). His practice includes prescribing and interpreting oral and maxillofacial-related X-ray images, performing both simple and complex dento-alveolar procedures, and harvesting hard or soft tissue for grafting surgery on the orofacial complex.
